I am volunteer firefighter with a level II certification.


Research Interests

My research focuses on computational modelling of stars, which involves theory, software development, and comparison with observations. I study how stars with different masses and chemical compositions evolve throughout their lifecycles, from M dwarfs with only 10% of the mass of the Sun to rapidly-rotating O stars with more than 100 times the mass of the Sun. Often we look at stars, and stellar models, only in the H-R diagram but there is so much more these models tell us. Here is a small example:
